How to Mount a Dish Drying Rack
When you don't have a dishwasher, a dish rack can be used to hold your dishes and allow them to dry. In Europe, it's popular to hang these dish racks directly above the sink, as this allows water to drain into the sink with no need for a towel underneath the dish rack. It is also better to mount your dish rack to a wall rather than the traditional method of letting it sit on the counter as it frees up space.
Instructions

1
Measure the width of your dish rack--specifically, measure the part of the dish rack that is going to be placed against the wall.

2
Use a pencil to draw a straight line where you want to place the dish rack. This will help you line up pilot holes when you're drilling.

3
Hold the drying rack up to this line, and use the pencil to mark spots on the line where the drying rack has holes for screws to go.

4
Drill into the marked spots, creating pilot holes for the dish rack's anchors.

5
Use a hammer to hit the anchors into the wall. Get the anchors in until they are flush with the wall.

6
Line up the drying rack's holes with the anchors.

7
Insert the long screws through the dish rack's holes into the wall. Use a screwdriver or power drill to tighten. Make sure you tighten it all the way so that the anchors open up inside the wall, preventing the dish rack from coming down.
