How to Mount a Magazine Rack
How to Mount a Magazine Rack
If you have an office with some sort of waiting room, you probably have magazines out for people to read while they wait. While this is a nice service, magazines can quickly stack up and clutter up your office. One solution to this problem is to install a magazine rack. This wall mounted rack can hole all of your magazines in one place and keep your waiting room looking neat and organized.
Instructions
1 Place the rack on the wall in the location you want to hang it. Place the level on top of the rack and adjust it so the top is perfectly horizontal. Mark the location of the screw holes on the wall with the pencil.
2 Drill pilot holes using the 3/16-inch bit in the locations you marked. Hammer the screw anchors which come with the kit into the holes you drilled.
3 Place the rack back against the wall. Screw the rack to the wall using the screws which came with the kit. Place them in the screw anchor and attach the rack to the wall with the Philip's head screwdriver.
Tips & Warnings
If your kit does not come with screw anchors you will need to provide them. You will most likely need two to four of them.
