Sanitize a Dish Rack

Sanitizing racks that dishes are set on is the first line of defense against viruses and bacteria. Many people will sanitize their dishes, but they rarely think about the racks on which they are putting them. Even if the rack is a dry wood rack placed over the top of the sink after the dishes are dry, it still needs to be sanitized.

Instructions

1
Pour 1/4 cup of bleach into 1 gallon of water. Mix thoroughly. Do not use hot or warm water since this will cause the bleach to dissipate.

2
Dip the cloth into the solution. Wring out the cloth. This will eliminate having too much water on the cloth and having to wipe up an extra mess.

3
Run the cloth over the entire dish rack. Allow to dry.
