Stack 3-Tier Wire Shelves
Three tier wire shelving units are used for a variety of organizational needs. Common uses are kitchen cabinet organization and office desktop organization. When more storage space is required, sometimes 3 tiers of shelving just isn't enough anymore. While purchasing new shelving units might be the first instinct of the average consumer, stacking the 3 tiered units is much more cost effective. With a few simple supplies and 5 minutes to spare you can stack your 3 tiered shelving units for more storage space.
Instructions
1
Stack two 3-tiered shelving units on top of one-another. If the shelving units differ in size, place the larger one on the bottom of the stack.
2
Wrap a plastic zip-tie around a point where the base of the top shelving unit and the top of the lower shelving unit meet.
3
Pull the thin end of the plastic zip tie through the rectangular end until the zip tie is tightly fastened.
4
Use the scissors to cut the excess zip tie away so that there is only a short tap extending from the zip tie.
5
Repeat this process at three other points where the base of the top unit meets the top of the lower unit.
